We are always interested in hearing from enthusiastic individuals who would like to work with Fab Science. Event leaders need to be great with kids, irrepressibly enthusiastic and confident to present to large groups of children (and parents!).

Fab Science events are non-stop, fun-filled days and we need leaders who are as tireless as the children! We are looking for people who can make science fun while being confident to manage behaviour and ensure the safety of our learners.

The Fab Science team is a mix of teachers, science students and geeks who just get excited about science. A passion for science and engineering are more important than formal qualifications as full training will be provided.

Most parties are at weekends and we run events in schools through term time and camps in the holidays. Some of our team only do weekends, some only do holidays, some only do term time…discuss what could work for you.
We have opportunities for Event Leaders and Assistant Leaders. Event Leaders take responsibility for all children at camps and lead all activities at parties and school workshops. Assistant Leaders supervise smaller groups of children and provide support to the Event Leader.
All Fab Scientists are required to undergo a DBS check. Full training will be given and all staff are expected to undertake first aid training (if not already certified). Event Leaders must have their own transport (not essential for Assistant Leaders). Get in touch to discuss opportunities.
